Note: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items stored comply with our policies. Storage of prohibited items is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
3. Booking and Payment
To secure storage space, customers must book a unit in advance. Payment must be made according to the selected storage plan. Our payment terms are as follows:
- Monthly payments are due on the first of each month.
- Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and direct debits.
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required at the time of booking. This deposit will cover any potential damages or unpaid dues.
4. Access and Security
Customers are granted access to their storage units during our operational hours. We prioritize the security of your belongings with the following measures:
- 24/7 surveillance cameras monitoring the premises.
- Electronic access control systems requiring individual codes.
- On-site security personnel present during business hours.
- Secure fencing and lighting throughout the facility.
Access Limitations: Access to the storage unit is limited to authorized personnel only. Sharing of access codes is prohibited and may result in the termination of services.
5. Responsibilities of the Customer
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information during the booking process.
- Maintain the security of your access credentials.
- Ensure that items are properly packed to prevent damage.
- Avoid storing illegal or hazardous materials.
- Notify Dulwich Storage of any changes to your contact information.
6. Liability
Dulwich Storage strives to maintain a secure environment for your belongings. However, we cannot be held liable for:
- Loss or damage due to natural disasters.
- Acts of theft or vandalism outside our control.
- Improper packing or installation of stored items.
- Loss of access due to forgotten access codes.
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
Insurance: Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance for valuable items stored with us. Dulwich Storage does not provide insurance coverage.
7. Termination of Service
Either party may terminate the storage agreement under the following conditions:
- By providing written notice at least 30 days in advance.
- Immediate termination by Dulwich Storage in cases of non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
- Rectification period may be provided for minor breaches.
Upon termination, customers must remove all items within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so may result in additional storage fees or legal action.
8. Modifications to Terms
Dulwich Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or posted notices at our facility. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dulwich Storage operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this area.
